Policy Local by default

Privacy

Your listening history, markers, and recordings belong to you. This app is designed so they do not need to leave your device.

What is stored

Markers, source references, recall history, optional action dates, and optional voice notes are stored in your browser’s IndexedDB. The current link source may also be kept in local storage so it survives a refresh.

What is not collected

There are no accounts, analytics, advertising trackers, hosted media uploads, automatic transcription, or remote AI processing. Local media files are opened with a temporary browser URL and are not copied into the app database.

Microphone and external links

Microphone permission is requested only after you press Record. Audio is recorded through the browser and stored locally. Opening a source link takes you to that provider, where its own privacy policy applies.

Your control

Use Data and settings to export a complete JSON backup or delete every marker. Clearing this site’s browser data also erases the local database. Export first if you need to preserve it.
